New scheme announced by Bob White will be structured around five forums.
Constructing Excellence has announced a new membership scheme following a review of the organisation by chief executive Bob White.
The scheme is structured around five forums focussing on: buildings and estates, clients, housing, infrastructure and local government. Members will join a forum of their choice but will also have the chance to network with the other sectors.
White said: “At Constructing Excellence we believe that industry improvement will be driven by all sectors sharing, learning, working together and focusing on innovation to deliver a demonstrably better built environment.”
The review comes after former chief executive Dennis Lenard’s contract was not renewed earlier this month. Lenard left because he was reluctant to remain the head of a body that was becoming more reliant on commercial backing after the DTI cut its funding by one-third this year.
