Open House, the architectural education charity, will this weekend open up 700 London buildings to the public, including the Blue Fin building in Southwark, designed by Allies and Morrison.

The fins have a metallic finish which alter the building’s appearance when viewed from different angles, and reflect the sun at different parts of the day, providing constant shade inside the building. The contractor was Bovis Lend Lease.
