Lee Marks has been at cladding contractor since 2023
Permasteelisa has confirmed that chief operating officer Lee Marks is leaving the business at the end of the month.
Marks joined the cladding contractor at the start of 2023 after arriving from building and civils firm NMCN which collapsed into administration in autumn 2021.
In a statement to Building, Permasteelisa said: “Lee Marks leaves his role as group chief operating officer, and therefore the company, at the end of this month. Nathalie Lion, who served as our group chief people officer, also leaves.”
The firm added: “The roles no longer form part of our structure as we have completed a critical phase of our transformation programme. As we announced recently, we have moved to a regionally-led leadership structure in each of our four strong operating regions.”
Last week, the firm said that chief executive Liam Cummins had been moved into a new role at the cladding specialist.
Cummins, who joined the firm from Kier at the start of 2023, has been made deputy chairman of the business.
Peter Bacon, who is also a partner at Atlas Holdings, the US private equity firm that bought the company five years ago, will stay as executive chairman.
Cummins said: “My newly appointed role will see me focus on the growth of the company across our four operating regions – Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East – in support of our group’s forward-looking strategy.
“Our plan has been to implement regionally-focused leadership to best deliver projects for our clients.”
