Building’s next Phase One networking event will take place at St Martin-in-the-Fields church in central London, on July 9th, offering new professionals across the industry an exclusive look at one of the most stunning and complex projects of recent years.
Members of the project team, including Eric Parry Architects and structural engineer Alan Baxter & Associates – will discuss how they overcame the challenges of working with a listed building, reworking underground spaces and integrating new services, all without disrupting the church’s services to the homeless.
The £36m renewal of St Martin-in-the-Fields was completed in 2008, and nominated for Public Building of the Year in this year’s Building Awards.
Building’s Phase One events are a unique unique opportunity for new professionals in construction, engineering, architecture and surveying to broaden their contacts and their industry knowledge.
