Landowner and developer Canada Israel behind £250m development

Plans have been submitted for a 515-home mixed use development in Wembley, north west London.

Developer and landowner Canada Israel and development manager and consultant Avanton plan to build a scheme with a gross development value of £250m on the 2.5acre site.

The Stonebridge Place development will include 515 homes, of which 35% will be for affordable tenures, including 117 for affordable rent and 57 shared ownership.

The tallest tower at the development will be 32 storeys high

The scheme, designed by architect Patel Taylor, will consist of a 32-storey tower providing 266 homes and a second stepped tower rising from 10 to 20 storeys providing 249 homes.

The development also includes commercial space, a new boxing gym, public café and a new civic square.

Canada Israel is a real estate investor and developer based in Tel Aviv. It has developed numerous residential properties on Israel’s coastline and also built Microsoft’s office complex in St Petersburg, Russia.

Plans for the development have been submitted to planning authority Brent council. The new development will sit alongside Canada Israel’s 439-home WEM Tower scheme.
