Architect Sturgis Associates has won a £35m scheme to remodel Fleetway House in the City of London.

Sturgis will add four floors to the nine-storey building, making it a 235,000ft2 structure, and glass will be layered onto its exterior to improve its energy efficiency. Construction work is set to commence next month and is due for completion at the end of 2008. The client is Scottish Widows and Teachers Assurance.
