These are the latest construction images of Zaha Hadid Architects’ Bridge Pavilion in Zaragoza, Spain.

The scheme is organised around four main sections or “pods” that form the structure of the bridge. The pods intersect to brace each other and allow loads to be distributed instead of resting on a single element. They are also stacked so as to reduce the section of the bridge as much as possible where the span is longer, and enlarge it where the bridge needs to span less.
