Ely's new heritage
Rehau Heritage vertically sliding PVCu windows manufactured by Roseview Windows have been installed in a Freshwater Estates development in Ely, Cambridgeshire. The windows were chosen because they were considered a suitably authentic-looking replica of traditional timber box sashes for this conservation area site. The Heritage vertical sliders are approved by more than 20 local authority planning departments across the UK for installation in conservation areas.

Modern meets traditional
LS Longden supplies traditionally constructed doorsets with solid timber stiles, rails and panels. All joints are mortice and tenoned and doors are stained and French polished to produce a luxurious rich finish. These traditional methods are married with new innovations to achieve the performance levels required by regulations today. Sixty-minute fire resistance and 35dBRw sound reduction can be easily achieved on products that match traditional designs.

The fibreglass alternative
Therma-Tru's new range of fibreglass doors is designed to take the hassle out of door selection. While timber doors are popular with homebuyers, their tendency to shrink and swell gives homeowners headaches as they become overly tight or draughty. Therma-Tru's fibreglass doors look as attractive as wood but offer five times the impact resistance of wooden doors, and warping, shrinkage and swelling are non-existent.

Each features a solid block timber core, furniture grade quarter sawn oak face veneers and solid oak lippings. These lippings are deep enough to allow rebating to form pairs, if necessary.
