Firm expecting record annual turnover this year
Electrical contractor T Clarke said it expects turnover this year to be around £450m after a bumper first half which saw income climb by close to half.
The firm saw turnover in the six months to June jump 49% to a record interim figure of £206m, helped by a booming market in London with workloads in the capital rising 72% to £125m.
Pre-tax profit for the period was £5.5m, up from the covid-impacted £1.9m last time.
It said that its forward order book stood at £586m, a rise from £503m last time, and net cash was up from £2m to £7.2m.
T Clarke has previously said it wants turnover to be above £500m by 2023.
