McLaren has made Leeds a stronghold for work

It has already acquired sites in Wellington Street for a mix of build-to-rent and commercial development and at Water Lane for build-to-rent, with the BTR schemes to be delivered by McLaren Living.

There is also a £62m project already under construction, a 473-bed student accommodation scheme on the site of the Leonardo printworks in the Civic Quarter.

Essex-based McLaren has several construction offices including London and Manchester.

The Leeds office will be led by McLaren Property regional managing director Tom Gilman.
