Sainsburys this week appointed Stanhope as development partner for the redevelopment of its former head office in the South Bank. The Foster and Partners-designed scheme comprises a 20-storey building on the corner of Blackfriars Road and Stamford Street. It will offer 375,000 m2 of office space and a Sainsburys supermarket on the ground floor. The project team includes structural engineer Arup, QS Davis Langdon & Everest and services engineer Mott Green & Wall.
