Firm will act as project manager and QS on £100m mixed use scheme in Northamptonshire

Rider Levett Bucknall (Birmingham) has been appointed by Frontier Homes as project manager and QS to a £100m mixed use landmark scheme in Northamptonshire.

The scheme at Grange Park is one of the first to be fully developed by Frontier Homes, the new residential-focussed division of Frontier Estates. It comprises an integrated mix of 420 private and social houses and apartments and up to 175,000 sq ft of commercial space.

Mark Weaver, managing partner at Ryder Levett Bucknall, said: “Creating sustainable homes and communities is now top of the agenda for any committed developer and this Northampton site certainly meets the necessary criteria.”

Outline planning for the 280,000 sq ft development is due to be submitted this month. Subject to outline planning consent, detailed planning is due to be submitted in early January 2008 and work on the five year scheme is expected to start in spring 2008.
