Maintenance services company extends its reach across north England with new acquisition.

ROK Property Solutions has bought Durose & Gourlay, the maintenance services provider, for £11.4m.

Rok, a north-east based company that provides property development, building and maintenance services, adds to its maintenance business in the north of England with the acquisition.

Durose & Gourlay reported pre-tax profits of £1.9m for the year ending 31 January 2005, and had net assets of £2.4m.

Roks chief executive Garvis Snook said: “We are delighted that D&G, which is a highly regarded business, is joining the Rok Group. This purchase will provide the financial backing to enable D&G to extend their offering to other social housing organisations in the North of England and add considerable expertise in this area to further develop Rok's service offering to clients.”
