DRP Architects has been given the green light for the £850,000 restoration of Brighton seafront’s bandstand

The grade II-listed landmark, designed by architect Philip Lockwood in 1883, will see a linking bridge built to the promenade and a disused public toilet converted into a cafe. The QS is Robinson Low Francis, structural engineer is Dixon Hurst Kemp and the M&E engineer is Archer Associates. A main contractor has yet to be appointed.
