Duo of managing directors will lead firm’s Ireland East unit and newly established energy business unit
Sisk has appointed two new managing directors from within the business.

Brian Comaskey will step up as managing director of Sisk’s Ireland East business unit, part of the Sisk Construction division.
Diarmuid O’Sullivan has been appointed managing director of a newly established energy business unit within the Sisk Infrastructure division.
Comaskey first joined Sisk in 2004 as an engineer, working on a range of Dublin city centre projects across the residential and commercial sectors. He then progressed to contracts manager, project director and since 2022, regional director.
He said he “can see great opportunity for [Sisk] to grow and develop further in the residential and commercial space in Dublin and play a key role in the overall company strategy in healthcare, energy and infrastructure”.
Meanwhile, O’Sullivan has been credited by the 3,000-strong company with leading the delivery of “complex mission critical programmes across Ireland, Europe and Africa for major international clients”.
He previously led the firm’s data centre business, helping to expand operations in Ireland and across Europe after joining Sisk in 1992 as a graduate engineer before progressing to director for Ireland and Europe in 2020.
