£20bn turnover giant inks takeover of 40-year-old piling firm

Piling contractor Van Elle has been formally acquired by Strabag for £59m.

The £20bn turnover Austrian giant announced it was buying £130m Van Elle two months ago and this morning the deal was finally completed.

Van Elle, which was founded in 1984, is one of the UK’s largest ground engineering and geotechnical contractors with around 650 staff.
