Sweetness and light: A £6m complex of arts, media studios, shops, galleries and a restaurant has been built as part of the £30m Custard Factory regeneration scheme in Birmingham. Known as the GreenHouse, the building has gondola-like balconies suspended in front of the facade. It was developed and designed by Bennie Gray's company, the Space Organisation, with Pendragon as main contractor, DT Associates as structural engineer, MR Associates as services engineer and Paul Mantle Partnership as QS.
