The family of a deceased Bristol businessman hopes to build his dream project – a £1bn star-shaped town powered by five 650ft wind turbines with a full-scale replica of the Taj Mahal in the centre.

Designed by RPS Bristol, the EcoStar scheme in Dubai is the brainchild of Jameel Hashmee, who died suddenly last year. His son is now pursuing the zero-carbon project.
