Taratantara, an installation by sculptor Anish Kapoor commissioned by Gateshead's Baltic Centre for Contemporary Arts, has a new home in Naples.
The PVC-coated polyester membrane spans 52 m between two 38 m high scaffolds. The specialist installation contractor, Brighton-based Tracy Brothers, used a crane's telescopic boom to push the pre-stressed 5.5-tonne membrane into position. The structural engineer was Atelier One.
