Taylor Woodrow is seeking a High Court injunction to stop a subcontractor from making allegations that it is guilty of corruption.
Taywood is trying to block suggestions by Ben Barrett, head of Ben Barrett & Son Contractors, that its staff behaved improperly at construction sites in Poole, Bromley and Camberley, according to the High Court writ.

The firm is also suing Barrett for malicious falsehood and is demanding to see every document in Barrett's possession that contains information of relating to the alleged corruption.

The writ seeks an injunction banning Barrett and his company from disclosing the existence of the allegations. No other details of the claim against Barrett is given.

Taywood said it was unable to comment on the proceedings for legal reasons. Barrett was unavailable for comment as Building went to press.
