The BRE Trust has achieved a net profit of £1.8m on its 10th anniversary.

The charity’s subsidiary trading companies (BRE, BRE Certification and FBE Management) recorded the combined net profit on a £40m turnover. Sir Neville Simms, chairman of the trust, said the financial performance this year was “one of the best so far”. The trust raised £900,000 for research activities in 2006/07 and is now supporting 43 research projects.
