Three companies to be prosecuted over Hinkley Point C worker death

Specific charges faced by Bouygues, Laing O’Rourke and EDF subsidiary yet to be announced

Three companies working on the Hinkley Point C project have been told they will be prosecuted after the death of a worker on site.

Site supervisor Jason Waring, died in a “construction incident” after sustaining fatal injuries on 13 November 2022.
