Network Rail has lined up a shortlist of blue-chip developers for the refurbishment of Victoria and Euston mainline stations.

Included on the list are British Land, Grosvenor, Development Securities, More London and Stanhope.

On the 100,000 m2 Euston project, Chelsfield Partners has also been nominated. This raises the prospect of Sir Stuart Lipton, who has set the business up with Elliott Bernerd, going head-to-head with his former employer Stanhope.

Hines, which is already in a joint venture with Network Rail to renovate Cannon Street station, is also on the list for Euston.

At Victoria, which could create up to 75,000 m2 of mixed-use space, Hammerson and Land Securities are also in the running.
