Departures follow takeover by fellow housebuilder Gladedale earlier this month.

Two more board members have resigned from Country & Metropolitan following its takeover by Gladedale Holdings earlier this month.

David Foster and Jonathan Van Gelder announced their resignation from the housebuilder this morning. C&M managing director Stephen Wicks and financial director Nishith Malde had already announced their departure following the sale.

Stephen Wicks had a 11.5% stake in the Country & Metropolitan and made £10m from the takeover deal.

Gladedale chairman and chief executive Remo Dipre will run the combined company, which is expected to have a combined turnover of £500m.
