Award-winning weekly construction magazine is advertising for a deputy news editor and an architecture editor

Building, the award-winning weekly construction industry magazine and website, is looking for an experienced journalist to join its team in the role of deputy news editor. The job will involve deputising for the news editor and looking after a section of the magazine's news and finance pages, as well as co-ordinating news on the web.

The ideal candidate will have the contacts, knowledge and experience to break stories, turn in flawless copy, edit others' stories and build relationships with senior industry figures. Experience in financial journalism would be an advantage.

Building is also looking for an architecture editor. The ideal candidate will be able to find the most exciting projects and trends, and will be as happy writing controversial blogs as putting together building reviews. The job is a three days a week position.
