Developer’s plans include 300 homes
Regeneration developer U+I has purchased a three acre industrial site in north London as part of a planned £95m redevelopment.
Called Forest Works, the scheme on Blackhorse Road in Walthamstowe is expected to see 300 homes and 5,500 sq ft of commercial space built with a planning application due in early next year.
The homes will be part of the Blackhorse Lane housing zone which has been developed Waltham Forest Council to deliver over 2,500 new homes and 1,000 new jobs in the next 10 years.
The site was bought Parkdale Investments for whom U+I will act as development manager.
