The Scottish division of Balfour Beatty has been awarded the £27m phase-one contract for the University of Edinburgh’s Potterrow Development.





The first phase will comprise a centralised School of Informatics made up of offices, meeting rooms, specialist laboratories and a large internal atrium. The client’s design team includes architects Bennetts Associates and Reiach & Hall, structural and services engineer Buro Happold, and QS Turner & Townsend.
