Surrey scheme will finish in 2022

Vinci has begun work on a £50m mixed-use scheme in a Surrey commuter town.

The firm is carrying out the job for Reigate & Banstead borough council at a former shops and office complex in Redhill.

Demolition work was completed at the Marketfield Way site in May with piling also now close to wrapping up.

The scheme (pictured) will include 150 homes, a seven-screen cinema, shops and restaurants.

Work is expected to finish in summer 2022.
