Network Plus bought by US investor earlier this summer

Infrastructure and civils specialist Network Plus said the booming water and utilities sectors helped send turnover up to more than £650m last year.

The firm, which was bought by US private equity firm Warburg Pincus earlier this summer from a Canadian pension fund for an undisclosed sum, specialises in regulated sectors like water and energy.

It added: “Regulatory settlements continue to mandate increased investment levels and we are confident that future demand levels will continue to grow.”

As well as water and energy, the firm also works for major gas, power and transport operators.
