Thanks to Peter Couch for this photo. He says: "Whilst sitting in our offices at the Trocadero on Tuesday we observed this horrifying repair work to the roof of the building opposite.

"The ladder was sitting on a parapet stone coping some 8m above the ground. Let’s hope the two operatives were given brain cells for Christmas!"
