Architect van Heyningen and Haward has submitted this plan for an £8.8m sixth-form college in Islington, north London, for planning permission.
The six-storey building has a glazed elevation that lights up at night like a shop window. It is due to start on site this summer and will be completed next year. Structural engineer is Price & Myers, services engineer is Max Fordham & Partners, QS is Davis Langdon & Everest and acoustic engineer is Arup Acoustics.
