Regeneration agency English Partnerships and housebuilder Crest Nicholson were among the prizewinners at the Regeneration Awards 2005, which took place at the Hilton Hotel in London’s Park Lane this Monday. EP won regeneration agency of the year, and chairman Margaret Ford was named regeneration champion of the year. Crest Nicholson scooped three awards: for best partnership, regeneration developer and regeneration housebuilder.

The awards ceremony began with a speech by Richard McCarthy, director general of the ODPM’s sustainable communities group, and the awards were presented by impressionist John Culshaw.
Now in their second year, the Regeneration Awards are hosted jointly by Building and sister titles Property Week and Building Design. This year’s glittering ceremony attracted an audience of more than 1000 regeneration executives from across the industry.
