Building supplies group Wolseley has bought five companies for £84m, it announced today.
The British firm said it had acquired US door and access control specialists Architectural Building Supply Company and Jacobi Hardware in October.
This month it bought Albuquerque-based KBC Construction, and the inventory of JD’s Wholesale Plumbing & Supply in Colorado.
The firm also agreed to buy French company Sofiparts SAS in August, it said in a statement.
Wolseley said the five bolt-on acquisitions were expected to add around £109m to total revenue in a full year while related goodwill and intangible assets were estimated to be around £50m.
Group chief executive Chip Hornsby said: “I am pleased to announce these acquisitions. They are excellent businesses that broaden our product and geographic coverage and support our strategy of growing the business through acquisition and organic growth.”
