Sadly, I’m not able to think of any female building services engineer other than Mel Starrs who has made a real impact on my awareness of the issues facing the industry.

Mel probably doesn’t count yet in your “influential figures” hall of fame as she’s still so young.

But surely her boss (and my client) at Inbuilt, David Strong, should be in your line-up? That’s not meant as a PR plug, it’s just a surprise not to see him alongside his peers, especially given his critical role with DIAG.
