Many HVAC firms are missing out on assessment contracts under the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive because they do not have appropriately qualified engineers

Such firms could tap this revenue stream by engaging an energy consultancy that has accredited engineers and has been carrying out EPBD surveys for energy performance and display energy certificates.

Working together, rather than in semi-competitive silos, HVAC firms and energy engineering consultants can realise optimum value from these legislative requirements.
