Legrand has enhanced its range of consumer units by adding a dual RCD split-load unit with dedicated main switch ways and a single-module RCBO

The products provide improved circuit protection and allow for installations to be divided into two to reduce the problems caused by unwanted tripping.

For example, the Legrand RCBO allows circuits to be arranged so that appliances such as fridges and freezers can be put on separate circuits. In this way the power supply to them is not affected when other circuit-protective devices are tripped, due to a fault.
