Lone worker systems
IDENTICOM IS A SMART IDENTITY card developed by Connexion2 that’s equipped with mobile communications technology which enables a lone worker (for example, a security officer) to covertly raise an alarm when threatened. It also allows a third party to listen-in on what’s happening, and record events remotely. Those recordings can then be used as evidence in a Court of Law.
The device includes a lanyard attachment that enables it to be worn around the neck as a standard ID and hides a ‘rip alarm’ function (which is triggered if the unit is forcibly removed from the wearer).
Connexion2’s systems – which contain a GSM module, SIM card and a built-in microphone as standard – are already being offered by Bold Communications as an additional service to its central stations portfolio of end user security solutions.
