Adrian Wallace and Phil Hammond have joined cost consultant EC Harris as associates. Adrian will be responsible for the operational management of the public sector team, and Phil is tasked with developing the firm’s Manchester property sector team.

Planning consultant Scott Brownrigg has made a series of promotions. Mike Kellard becomes chairman, Jonathan Hill managing director and Paul Holden, Glyn Hurrey and Peter Moller divisional directors. David Ferns, Candido Guillen and Sean Hammond are promoted to associate.

Gateway, the housing market renewal Pathfinder for Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire, has appointed Bob Pringle chief executive. He will join the organisation in November.

The Housing Corporation has appointed five field directors. They are: Margaret Allen in the central division; Steve Douglas in London; John Carleton in northern England; Fiona Cruickshank in south-east England; and Andrew Wiles in south-west England.

Terry Wyatt, a partner at Hoare Lea Consulting Engineers, has been appointed special professor of building services engineering in the School of the Built Environment at the University of Nottingham.
