Diamond impregnated brushes were used to make Lovell Purbeck’s stone for a church look worn

Lovell Purbeck has supplied 50m2 of stone for St Michael’s church in Southampton. The original flooring was 940 years old and had worn out, so contactor Everest Construction turned to Lovell Purbeck to supply natural stone to match the existing stone and make it look aged using diamond impregnated brushes. This removed the softer part of the stone, making it look weathered and worn.
