Anglo Holt Construction is marking its 35th year anniversary in the industry by expanding its project management team to include Tony Wehby. He is joining the team from Wolverhampton-based Carillion.

Ibex Interiors has promoted four of its project managers – Marcus Brooman, Fraser Saunders, Chris Mann and Nigel Aldridge – to project directors.

Housebuilders
Housebuilder Redrow Homes (South Midlands) has appointed John Dean construction manager. Dean was previously building manager at Redrow's Odyssey development in London's Docklands.

Chris Watson as been appointed regional land manager at MacCarthy & Stone in the north-east as the firm continues its search for suitable development sites for purpose-built retirement housing.

Consultants White Young Green has appointed Sam McCloskey Associate Director at its Belfast and Derry offices, where the consultancy is expanding its Northern Irish capacity. The Derry office will focus on environmental and health and safety fields.

Institutions
Roy Wakeman, chief executive of LS group, has been nominated by the British Woodworking Federation as deputy chairman of the Construction Confederation. Wakeman, who has served two terms as president of the BWF, will become chairman of the confederation in June.

Block and decorative paving manufacturer Tarmac TopPave has appointed Gino Bracco regional sales manager with responsibility for the south-east, south-west, East Anglia and Greater London regions. He previously worked for Brett Paving.

ACO Technologies, the drainage specialist, has named Jon Croke as its new Technical Services Manager in the UK. He will be based at the company's research, development and manufacturing site in Bedford.
