Mowlem’s rail subsidiary Hocking Rail has appointed Lynn David general manager. Lynn has more than 40 years’ experience as a railways manager and engineer.

Consultants

Building services engineer BCSP has made three promotions to associate in its London office. They are Neil Campbell, Dan Brooks and Matthew Winter.

Ian Leaper and Simon Wainwright have become partners at multidisciplinary consultant Buro Happold, based in the Manchester and Leeds offices respectively.

Town planning consultant Terence O’Rourke has appointed Tom Smith (right) planner, working on mixed-use regeneration schemes.

The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport’s new construction division – the Construction Supply Chain Forum – has appointed its first chairman. He is Rick Ballard, director of consultant The Logistics Business.

The Heating and Ventilation Contractors’ Association has elected Mike Taylor (left) its president for 2004/05. He is group human resources manager at Lorne Stewart.

Gordon Hill has been appointed southern area sales manager at FendorHansen, a fire and security glazing specialist.

Alpha Boilers has made a new appointment and a promotion, both at director level: Paul Linley joins as customer service director; Andrew Crown is promoted to sales and marketing director from his position of southern regional sales manager.

Stirling Lloyd Polychem, specialist in waterproofing for the civil engineering and construction industries, has hired Adrian Pollitt as UK expansion joint manager.

Steven Greenall has joined automated control manufacturer AMX as sales manager.
