Charles Church has appointed Owen Taylor-Roberts customer service manager, based in its north London office. He previously worked for Persimmon Homes.

Stephen Grant joins north-western housebuilder Charlton Homes as sales manager. He will be responsible for expanding and managing the sales team.

Weston Group has appointed Gareth Jacob sales and marketing director of the company’s Weston Homes division.

Consultant

TPS Consult has appointed Katrina Johnson regional director for Scotland. She takes over from Douglas Wilson, who has been promoted to look after business development in the Middle East and internationally.

Clients

Simon Lewis has been appointed development manager of industrial developer Eden Park. He comes from Lambert Smith Hampton where he was associate director.

Henry Davidson Developments has appointed Jason Davis associate director. He joins from construction consultant Concept where he was Midlands regional manager.

Stephen Hester has taken up his appointment as chief executive of the British Land Company. John Riblat will continue in his role as chairman.

Institution

The International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering has a new president. Manfred Hirt of Switzerland succeeds Manabu Ito of Japan, and started his three-year post last month.

Geoff McBride (right) has joined industrial safety and partitioning specialist Troax UK as sales manager, in a newly created role that gives him responsibility for the UK and Ireland sales operations.

Insulation supplier Celotex has appointed Colin Drennan sales representative for its south-east England operations.
