I must strongly disagree with your comparison of Michael Thirkettle of McBains Cooper to a Honda Fireblade motorcycle. Firstly Honda is no longer the market leader – Yamaha and Kawasaki are equally strong brands.

As far as practicality goes, a Fireblade is a super sports bike and although it is great at zooming down country roads faster than a demolition contractor illegally disposing of contaminated waste, it’s impractical for city and off-road riding – hardly an all-rounder. I think Michael would prefer to be compared with a BMW R1200GS Adventure which is fast, practical and has bags and bags of style!
