It’s not surprising Francis Ives wants to take back the reins

Regarding the story Sweett board lambasts Ives’ bid to retake control of firm (10 April) - in 2008 Sweett’s share price was £1.00 per share. Now, in April 2013 the share price is 23p per share.

If I owned 4% of a company and saw shareholder value destroyed over a five-year period whilst observing competitor firms such as EC Harris going from strength to strength, I would be pretty emotional too.

I guess the Sweett board is absolutely right in its observations.
