Aedas driver Jonathon Kennard wins the latest round of the Formula Palmer Audi Championship despite early race prang.

Architects and surveyors Aedas are in danger of being upstaged by the company’s sponsored racing car, despite two recent wins in the Public Private Finance Awards.

The Aedas sponsored Formula Palmer Audi car stormed to victory at Silverstone recently. It was driven by 19-year-old BRDC rising star Jonathan Kennard, who now has a massive 30-point lead in the Formula Palmer Audi Championship.

Kennard started from pole position in the race, but briefly dropped into second place following a poor start. A collision with championship rival Rob Jenkinson as he tried to regain the lead resulted in a bent steering arm, after which Kennard was lucky to continue.

Structural damage should not be something Aedas will have to worry about on a Stoke schools project where it recently won two awards. .
