This week’s #buildingdoodle sketch is by architect Rich Bassett at LSI Architects.

He says: “We recently headed to Norman Foster’s Sainsbury Centre at the University of East Anglia for our Friday lunchtime sketch club. I attempted to capture the reference to the geometry of architect Denys Lasdun’s grid by drawing a view from the high-level link bridge.

“From here, you can immediately understand the layout of the spaces below, and appreciate the balance between the natural and artificial lighting of the collection.”
