Swiss company Urimat has launched its waterless urinal in the UK.

According to the company, it needs no power, chemicals or water and works using a reservoir and a system of drain traps, chambers and seals to eliminate odour. Plumbing is only required for waste. The company says that fitting the product in 160 McDonald’s restaurants in Switzerland has saved 27 million litres of water in one year.
