These are the winners of Building's inaugural Health and Safety Awards 2004, organised in association with the Health and Safety Executive. A 730-strong crowd attended the gala presentation dinner at London's Hilton Hotel on Park Lane on 19 May, which was hosted by Building publisher Adrian Barrick. Among the victors was Bovis Lend Lease, which did the treble with wins in the site facilities, occupational health scheme and consultant innovation categories. UCATT's George Brumwell took home the outstanding achievement award for his services to health and safety in the industry.For full details of all the winners see next week's issue
