Architect Studio E has had its design for the Beaufort Court Zero Emissions Building in Hertfordshire shortlisted for this year’s RIBA Sustainability Awards. The building, commissioned by Renewable Energy Systems, is the first self-sufficient commercial scheme in the UK. The team includes Willmott Dixon as main contractor, Dewhurst Macfarlane and Partners as structural engineer, A&S Friend and Partners as QS, King Sturge as project manager, Max Fordham as building services. The winner will be announced on 16 October at the Stirling Prize dinner.
