Wandsworth Primary Care Trust and Catalyst Healthcare have signed a contract for the £55m PFI redevelopment of the Queen Mary Hospital, Roehampton, Surrey. The 139-bed community facility is due to be completed in December next year. Bovis Lend Lease will handle design and construction, Lend Lease Facilities Management will provide equipment and Sodexho will handle facilities management. Funding is to be provided by Halifax Bank of Scotland and Dexia Public Finance Bank. The PFI contract is for 29 years.
